About CNC machining : Those things you should know
|01| What is CNC machining ?
CNC machining usually refers to computer numerically controlled precision machining, also known as CNC machining, which refers to machining performed with CNC machining tools. Because CNC machining is programmed and then controlled by a computer, CNC machining has the advantages of stable machining quality, high machining accuracy, high repeatability, the ability to machine complex shapes, and high machining efficiency.

|02| The process of CNC machining
(1) Read drawings and programme sheets
(2) Transfer the appropriate programme to the machine
(3) Check the programme header, cutting parameters, etc.
(4) Determine the size and allowance of the workpiece in the previous process.
(5) Proper clamping of the workpiece
(6) Accurately align the workpiece
(7) Accurately determine the workpiece coordinates.
(8) Reasonable selection of tools, cutting parameters
(9) Reasonable tool clamping
(10) Safe method of test cutting
(11) Observation of machining process
(12) Adjustment of cutting parameters
(13) machining process and the corresponding personnel timely feedback problems
(14) Inspection of workpiece quality after machining
|03| CNC machining method selection and machining programme determined
(1) Selection of cnc machining method
The principle of selecting machining methods is to ensure that the machining accuracy and surface roughness of the machined surface requirements. Since there are generally many machining methods to achieve the same level of accuracy and surface roughness, the actual selection should be combined with the shape of the part, size and heat treatment requirements and other comprehensive considerations.

(2) Machining programme determined
The machining of the more accurate surfaces of a part is often achieved progressively through roughing, semi-finishing and finishing. For these surfaces, it is not enough to select the appropriate finishing method only according to the quality requirements, it should also be correctly determined from the blank to the final shape of the machining programme. Determine the machining programme, the first should be based on the accuracy of the main surface and surface roughness requirements, the initial determination of the machining method required to achieve these requirements.
